Cart / Bag Room Attendant at The Rock Pro Shop

Our 2,200-acre waterfront property features a 40-room log Lodge, a collection of spacious and luxurious waterfront cabins, championship golf at The Rock, The Ridge Off-Road & 4x4 Park, sporting clays, paintball, marina services, trail systems, and Pins Bar & Grill, our lively and casual gathering place, and Bayside Dining, our signature waterfront restaurant and banquet venue hosting weddings, group events, and special celebrations throughout the season.

The Cart / Bag Room Attendant is a key member of The Rock Pro Shop team, responsible for delivering a welcoming and professional first impression for all golfers. This role supports daily golf operations by managing golf carts and bag handling, maintaining practice facilities, and assisting guests to ensure a seamless and high-quality golf experience from arrival to departure.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, stage, clean, and organize golf carts daily to ensure they meet resort presentation standards
    • Greet golfers upon arrival and assist with unloading, staging, and storing golf bags
    • Load and unload golf bags onto carts with care and attention to detail
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bag room, cart barn, and surrounding areas
    • Set up and maintain practice facilities including driving range, putting green, and short game areas (range balls, baskets, signage)
    • Monitor and replenish range balls; operate range picker as needed
    • Provide friendly, proactive guest service including directions, course information, and general assistance
    • Coordinate with Pro Shop staff to ensure smooth tee time flow and cart availability
    • Ensure all equipment is properly stored, charged, and secured at the end of each day
    • Follow all safety procedures and report any maintenance or equipment issues promptly

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 15 years of age
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to stand for at least 5 hours at a time
  • Excellent customer service and phone skills
