Custodian Job Description

Duties and responsibilities:

The Custodian’s main responsibility is to clean both the public areas and work spaces at the restaurant. This task is broken down into several duties performed throughout the day or at other regular intervals, such as:

• Cleaning various types of flooring, such as linoleum, ceramic tile, wood, etc.

• Vacuuming rugs and carpets regularly

• Emptying trash cans; taking out trash and recycling

• Changing air filters and cleaning vents

• Dusting all surfaces

• Maintaining the inventory of cleaning supplies and compiling orders as needed

• Washing windows

• Must be able to operate equipment such as commercial vacuums, floor sweepers and carpet cleaners

Compensation details -

• Wage range between $20-$25 per hour, based on experience.
• Includes dining and lodging discount.
• Seasonal, part time position.
