First impressions count! As the first point of contact, our hosts set the stage for the guest experience at the Pier. This position is a good fit for kind, energetic people who work well in a team setting.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate genuine hospitality for an exceptional dining experience by making every guest feel welcome
Engage guests in conversation as you seat guests
Introduce server to their guests
Manage wait lists during volume to set guest expectations
Speak courteously when answering the telephone
Communicate effectively with servers, bar, kitchen and management on level of business
Ensure all guests are sincerely thanked as they leave
Required Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to work weekends and holidays
Must be able to stand for 5 to 6 hours at a time
Must have basic computer skills
Job Types: Seasonal, Full-time and Part-time
Experience preferred; however, we will train the right people!
